I think everything published made a ton of sense. However, think about this,

boring. You should peek at Yahoo's home page and note how they create news titles to get viewers to click. You might add a video or a related picture or two to grab readers interested about everything've written.
In my opinion, it might make your blog a little bit more interesting.
